Job Description

·       Content Strategy: Develop and implement a strategy for producing and curating engaging that aligns with the app’s audience demographics and goals.

·       Production Management: Oversee the entire production process.

·       Team Collaboration: Work with writers, directors, editors, and actors to ensure quality storytelling and production value. Manage partnerships.

·       Audience Engagement: Understand what resonates with the audience and make recommendations for future content based on trends and insights.

·       Scheduling: Manage content calendars, ensuring a steady flow of new content on the app to maintain audience interest and increase user engagement.

·       Budgeting: Handle budgeting for drama shorts production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.

·       App Integration: Collaborate with designers to optimize the user experience around drama shorts, ensuring seamless delivery and viewing experience.

·       Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media campaigns, and app push notifications to drive user engagement with drama shorts content.

·       Quality Control: Ensure all content meets the app’s quality standards and adheres to legal and content guidelines.

·       Talent Management: Identify and manage relationships with actors, directors, and production teams for original drama shorts.

·       Governance:  Manage relationships with the local ensuring compliance with all regulations and staying aware of any updates that may impact the operation of the Drama Centre.  Participate in round table events where authorities could be educated or influenced on future legislation.

·       Cultural Landscape: Be knowledgeable about the cultural landscape, particularly regarding sensitive themes, and ensure that programming reflects appropriate cultural considerations.  Create an environment where authorities approve 100% of content at first view.

Requirement

·       Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

·       Proven experience in content production, specifically with short-form drama or similar formats.

·       Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Experience in leading creative teams and working cross-functionally with marketing, development, and production teams.

·       Familiarity with digital platforms and mobile apps, and an understanding of how to engage digital audiences.

·       Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and feedback to creative teams.

·       Ability to interpret data and audience insights to inform content strategy.

·       Strong organizational and budgeting skills.

·       Knowledge of industry trends in short-form digital content, particularly drama.

·       Understanding of app ecosystems and user behavior in mobile content consumption.
